FAQ SHIPPING

How long will it take to process my order?

I will always try to get items out before these times however, these are my policies:

For items that are already made (for example hoops and scrunchies) please allow 1-3 business days for dispatch.

For made to order bags, please allow up to 3 working days for dispatch.

For made to order embroidered earrings, please allow up to 4 working days for dispatch.

When will I know if my order is dispatched?

You will receive an email notifying you that I have dispatched your order. 

Can I track my order?

UK ORDERS

All UK orders have a standard shipping option or a tracked shipping option. If the standard shipping option is selected then I will not be able to track your parcel for you. If you have selected the tracked option then your tracking details will be attached to your dispatch notification email.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

All international orders are sent with tracked shipping. All tracking information is included in your dispatch notification email.

EU AND NORTHERN IRELAND CUSTOMERS: 

UPDATE: I am so pleased to announce that I will be resuming shipping in the EU in 2026! For now, it has to be through my Etsy store which you can find here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/OhSewGoth

I am working super hard to integrate this into the Shopify store and will update you when this happens!

Unfortunately, due to the new GPSR coming in on the 13th December, I have had to cease trading in the EU and Northern Ireland. The new policy makes it completely financially unviable for me to sell there and whilst I hope this is temporary, for now it is permanent. I hope I can start to ship there again soon.

USA

I'm now trialing Royal Mail's Postal Deliveries Duties Paid (PDDP) to ship to the US. This means that taxes are included in the price of your item and will hopefully sail through customs without being held up. There may be a few teething problems for the first few months so please be patient if it isn't as smooth as it should be!

Flat Fee: From what I understand, UK businesses are exempt from the $80 flat fee. Please see the below quote from the UK Gov Website:

  • While US Customs guidance mentions a fixed rate tariff ($80–$200 per item), this option is only available to postal network operators (e.g. Royal Mail). Royal Mail is not currently using this method, and it is not available to commercial carriers. Therefore, UK businesses will not be charged a minimum $80 fee per item.

 

ALL OTHER INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:

Please check your country's policies before placing an order. All orders will be sent DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid) which means you may have to pay import fees.
